Situated on fifteen stunningly oceanfront acres the design of this five star lifestyle resort with 290 rooms and suites encapsulates everything that a modern Hawaiian resort should be. Blessed by sloping topography leading to the most scenic stretch of Wailea Beach the landscape design vision has made full use of this situation by creating a series of dramatically terraced swimming pools. Each level is graced by a curvilinear over-flow edged water wall richly clad in lava stone that becomes the glistening backdrop to the next terrace below. Panoramic Pacific Ocean views are to had from virtually all points of the splendid outdoor areas. The lowest beachside level of these swimming pools takes on a lagoon-like aspect that offers the guests (particularly families) with a beach-like entry edge as well as spacious cabana pavilions for complete relaxation. As if all of these landscape amenities were still not enough we have alternatively provided the more solitude seeking guest with an adult only pool environment adjacent to the Spa facilities. This pool is more intimate yet still affords wide open ocean views and features upper and lower lounge terraces with couples sized cabanas. Tropical landscaped gardens surround all of the pool areas as well as the sizeable event lawn that also again provides sweeping views to the turquoise blue sea beyond.
